This program is a structural redesign of the existing master’s in biomedical sciences (MBS), Molecular and Cell Biology (MCB) Track, converting it from a two-year, 42-credit-hour program into an accelerated, course-intensive, one-year program totaling 36 credit hours. This redesigned track is conceived as a streamlined gateway to doctoral training, enabling qualified graduates from life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, and biomedical engineering to progress directly into a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
In case the student decides not to proceed to the PhD, they may complete the capstone project and graduate with a master’s degree.
