This course introduces the principles of real estate investment from the perspective of an external asset manager/investor. It focuses on the principles and theories of investment; real estate as an asset class; and the role of real estate within a portfolio context. The key theories that shape the investment universe are introduced and then applied, using real estate data, to solve a simulated portfolio management task.
