This course provides a foundation in healthcare systems and reimbursement systems in Saudi Arabia. Students will be able to analyze and evaluate the ethical and legal considerations of healthcare decisions, demonstrate an understanding of the transformation of the healthcare system, policies, funding systems, healthcare quality, patient safety and decision-making in healthcare organizations. This course will equip students with knowledge and skills of using and applying health technology assessment methodologies in a variety of governmental and non-governmental bodies to ensure the efficient use of resources to deliver the healthcare in Saudi Arabia.
