The course will include an overview of the typical speech/sound acquisition, and theoretical approaches to phonological analysis. These will include characteristics of speech sound disorders in children focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of articulation and phonological disorders as well as childhood apraxia of speech. Emphasis will be placed on integrating normative data, scientific knowledge and clinical practice of the Arabic Speech Sounds.
