This course seeks to enhance managerial insights into the ways in which information technologies and systems facilitate the attainment of operational excellence. This includes fostering innovation and digital transformation across the product and service value chain, enhancing organizational competitiveness, improving decision-making processes, and securing both short-term and long-term strategic advantages. Hence, this course encompasses the identification of innovation and technology trends within the dynamic business sphere, the introduction of major components of a typical business information system, the evaluation of information systems across diverse functional areas in business and organizations, the proficient management of information system-related projects, the ethical dimension of IS, and the analysis, design, development, and implementation of IS within specific contexts.
